Marvin Rosen is an American pianist, music educator, musicologist and host of the weekly radio program ''Classical Discoveries'', which airs on WPRB 103.3 FM in Princeton, New Jersey. He is best known for his work in promoting the music of living composers as well as the music of Alan Hovhaness. ==Musical studies== Rosen earned his bachelor's degree in music education from the College of New Jersey and a master's degree in musicology from the Manhattan School of Music. In addition, he studied at the Teacher's College, Columbia University, where he completed both his master's and doctorate degrees in music education. He studied piano with Shirley Bachelor and Karl Ulrich Schnabel and piano pedagogy with Robert Pace as well as with Frances Clark and Louise Goss at the New School for Music Study in Kingston, New Jersey.〔(Westminster Conservatory: Our Faculty ), at Rider University.〕
